Meet The Team

Dr. Maria D.C

Dr. Maria grew up in the small towns of Le Grand and Planada Ca. Growing up she had no knowledge of what chiropractic was like until early adulthood. After graduating from Le Grand High School, she went off to Fresno State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Community Health Sciences as well as a minor in Spanish. While in school, she was a volunteer at the Madera Children's Hospital, become a first responder, and also became a pharmacy technician.

After graduating in 2016, she worked with a non-profit organization called California Asthma Collaborative as a community health worker. Through her experiences she learned that her passion was working with the community, specifically pediatrics and pregnancy. While working with the community, she met a chiropractor that showed her the way to chiropractic! She always had the mentality that there was more that someone could do to help their chronic conditions. She went to a Champion's weekend at Life Chiropractic College West and before she left, she had submitted her application to attend.

She graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in 2022. That is where she learned the amazing abilities that the body has to heal itself from the inside out. She continues to engage in learning and increase her knowledge in pediatrics and pregnancy. She is certified in the Webster technique, which is a chiropractic technique focused on the care of pregnant mothers. She is also a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and working towards certification with the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP) to better serve my community.

In her free time, she likes to spend time outside in the garden with her husband and their dog (Spyro). They also enjoy hiking or going on long walks with Spyro.
